France Bravo vps downtime

From the Information we had gathered so far is that our main france node got hit by dos of some sort by hacker clan we are unsure why at this moment however we are still looking in to this.. this has caused us alot of issues due to the downtime and such at this moment our main node is in rescue mode and the ips are null routed we are awaiting to get the ips back to normal..

As we say “we take pride in our clients ”  We are extend the due date on all vps clients so if you get early invoice notify us by live help or support ticket and we will take cure of it… We will extend it for how many days the vps nodes are down it will be extended by that much so you get what your paying for.

We have added sub domain http://status.shakehost.com so you can see what servers are online which ones are offline that refreshes every few minutes.

Our major ddos attack :

We had a client who had spammed a 4chan moderator they had ddos our ip for hours on dec 25 which we had solved the issue within 12 hours and moved shakehost on to it’s own server so we can keep in contact with our clients further. You may have noticed some billing system errors which thats was apart of our moving process most of which are fixed.

More Dedicated server locations:

We have expanded our locations on dedicated servers which you may have seen we are looking in to providing offshore Netherlands servers as well.

Webpage updates:

We changed up the sliders added more pages in the dedicated server section.

- We are sorry that virtual servers have to be manually activated.

A few good things been happening at shakehost.com … We pushed out advertisments on chris.pirillo.com/live, wjunction and few other places

- You can now buy domains with hosting it will automatically setup.

- Offshore hosting and combo bar on top in the hosting so you can select which ever you want.

- Fixed login button the top right before it would take you inside that window to the billing system and now it will take you to different window outside of that one.

- Added few articles to the knowledge base.

- Beefed up security even more if your php script has any issues please put in a support ticket.

- Umetered mysql,subdomains,ftp accounts, email accounts on some packages..

Your first paid hosting

We know how nerve racking it can be when you first buy paid hosting you have all these questions you want to ask we here at shakehost understand thats why we have our live chat and support ticket system…

Things you should do before hand:

1. Buying a domain is always handy before hand you may buy one from us or go to a third party your choice some we recommend godaddy.com, name.com, namecheap.com

2. Read the terms of service get to know the rules if you have questions regarding what you can and can’t have on your site please ask or put in a support ticket.

3. Considering that you might have downtime .. you want to make sure an do the switch keep your old host up for another 24 – 48 hours you should be ok.

4. When you do order hosting make sure to upload all your files and import your database make sure your site is in full working order so when your dns does update you don’t have anything to worry about.

New site, New blog

Yes we have been working really hard on our site we finally got it done we had this in the works for almost 6 months. The logo has change color wise otherwise it’s the same.. Instead of light blue and green it’s dark blue and black.
